Rigid in appearance, but inhabited by a silent movement, her totems undulate… breathe… evolve… and vibrate under the creative impulse of her hands.
Each piece is an encounter, a delicate choreography where shadow dialogues with light, where raw power blends with the infinite gentleness of its gesture.
Some works, caressed by fire, reveal profound nuances, striking contrasts where destruction becomes rebirth, where the past intertwines with the present, and from this alchemy is born a singular, mysterious, and sincere beauty.

The Art of Revealing the Essence
To delve into the world of the artist Victor is to immerse oneself in a raw poetry where each totem tells a unique story.
Nicolas Flachot, during his wanderings through flea markets, picks up these pieces of wood, fragments of a forgotten past, to transform them into living and authentic works.
In his workshop, located a stone's throw from the Champs de Mars, 66 av de la Bourdonnais in Paris, surrounded by the delicate scent of natural essences, Victor composes his totems with palpable passion, breathing new life into these found treasures.

But Victor… whose name carries within it life, the T of totem and the gold nestled in its heart… is also that of his father.
This father who passed on to him a sensitive eye, the art of contemplating simple beauty and drawing from the act of creating a form of tranquility and depth.

It was in this fertile ground of love and transmission, between inherited gestures and shared memories, that Nicolas Flachot shaped his own vision.
Through each totem sculpture, he preserves this precious material that resonates in the name of Victor… This dense, tender and ductile material, unalterable like certain memories… This rare material that some beings possess in the palm of their hands… These hands that transform, that create and that breathe magic into life.
Victor's totem sculptures thus stand as a tribute—a tribute to the art of shaping, the art of transmitting, the art of beauty. They celebrate life in its most fragile and most powerful aspects…
Each piece is a breath, a story, an open door to a world where art, matter and emotion become one.
